How to Prompt AI for an Interactive Sex Story

What makes a story interactive?

An interactive story loops: the AI writes a short scene, stops, and offers you options for what happens next. You choose, it continues from there. Most AI won't do this on its own — by default it just writes a whole story start to finish. You have to *tell it the rules*: write a little, then pause and give me choices. That instruction is the whole secret.

The copy-paste prompt

Paste this into your AI of choice, fill in the Setup line, and send it. It puts the AI into interactive mode:

You are the narrator of an interactive erotic story for adults (18+). All characters are consenting adults.

Setup: [describe the characters, the setting, and the tone — e.g. "A slow-burn evening between two old friends who finally stop pretending. First person, her point of view. Teasing and tender."]

Rules:
- Write one short scene (2–4 paragraphs), then STOP.
- End every scene by offering me 3 numbered choices for what I do next.
- Wait for my reply before continuing. I'll answer with a number, or type my own idea.
- Stay in character. Keep the pace slow and let tension build.
- Match the tone I set, and check with me before any big escalation.

Begin the story now.

That's it. The AI will write an opening scene and end with something like *"1) … 2) … 3) …"*. You reply with a number and it continues.

How to keep it going

Once it's running, a few simple replies steer everything:

• Pick a number — "2" — to take that path.
• Type your own — ignore the options and describe what you want instead; the AI adapts.
• "Continue" — let the current moment play out before the next choice.
• "Slow down" or "more teasing" — adjust pacing on the fly.
• "Go back" — undo the last choice and try a different one.

Multiple-choice vs. free-text

The prompt above gives you numbered choices — easy, guided, great when you want to be led. But you're never locked in: at any point you can ignore the options and type your own direction (free-text), and the story follows. The best sessions mix both — pick a choice when one fits, write your own when it doesn't.

Tips for a better interactive story

• Front-load the Setup. Two vivid character details and a clear tone beat a vague scene every time.
• Make the AI end on a choice. If it forgets, just reply "give me 3 choices" — it'll get back in rhythm.
• Set point of view in the Setup (first person pulls you in hardest).
• Keep scenes short. Telling it "2–4 paragraphs then stop" prevents it from running away with the story.
• Stay in character. If the AI breaks the mood, reply "stay in character" and continue.

Common mistakes

• No 'stop' rule. Without "write a little, then stop," the AI writes the whole story and there's nothing to play.
• Vague setup. "Make it hot" gives a generic scene; specifics give a world.
• Forgetting to answer in character. Reply as *you* in the scene, not as a director, to stay immersed.
