Silk and Shadows
The gown clung to you like a second skin, the silk cool against your flushed body. Marin’s fingers worked the laces deftly, drawing them tighter, reshaping you with each pull. Your breath hitched as the fabric pressed against your chest, the soft shadows beneath the silk hinting at curves you hadn’t known before. Her breath warmed the nape of your neck, her presence close enough to feel but not yet touch.
“There,” she murmured, her voice low and approving. “You look exquisite.”
Her hands lingered on your waist, her thumbs brushing the dip of your spine. The heat of her touch seeped through the fabric, setting your skin alight. She stepped back, her eyes roaming over you, taking in the transformation. The gown made you someone else, and the way she looked at you made it impossible to look away.
Marin’s gaze lingered on the curve of your hip, her lips parting slightly as if she were about to speak. Instead, she reached out, her fingertips grazing the edge of the gown where it hugged your thigh. The touch was light, almost tentative, but it sent a shiver through you. Her eyes met yours, dark and unreadable, as her hand crept higher, the silk whispering as she moved.
The room seemed to hold its breath, the air thick with anticipation. Her fingers traced the line of your hip, her touch firm now, purposeful. The gown shifted, the hem riding up just enough to expose the sensitive skin of your thigh. Her gaze dropped to where her hand rested, and you felt the heat of it even through the fabric. She leaned in, her lips brushing your ear as she whispered, “Tell me what you want.”
